Located right on the Puget Sound, Steilacoom was incorporated in 1854 and is the oldest town in Washington State. The favorite destinations within Steilacoom are a perfect reflection of the town itself. A long-standing favorite of locals is Bair Bistro which has an interesting history: in the past, it’s served as a drugstore, a hardware store, and a post office. Bair Bistro has a 1906 soda fountain and serves breakfast, lunch, and ice cream.

Another favorite place to dine out at is the Steilacoom Pub & Grill, which serves a wide variety of pub food and deli-style sandwiches, and has several pool tables that add a fun element to the restaurant. Another great place with a friendly atmosphere is The Topside, a new restaurant with delicious food, a wide selection of beers, and outside deck seating with a great view.
